Pucker up: This is Krispy Kreme's next donut flavor

For the first time, Krispy Kreme has handed the decision-making powers to their fans, who voted for the next donut flavor in an online poll that generated two million votes within one week.

And more than blueberry, caramel, maple, the most popular flavor was lemon, taking 36 percent of the vote.

For one week this spring at participating Krispy Kreme shops across the US, fans will be able to sample the brand's first crowd-sourced lemon-glazed donut.

During their #VoteForGlaze campaign, Krispy Kreme let their biggest fans decide on an all-new glazed donut flavor between Jan. 16 - 22.
