Ratings: Sterling K Brown’s Big ‘This Is Us’ Episode Tops Tuesday

This is another NBC victory. “This Is Us” topped Tuesday in the key ratings demographic, carrying its home network to a primetime win.

Led by “NCIS,” CBS finished first in total viewers.

NBC was first in ratings with a 1.0 rating/5 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and second in total viewers with an average of 5.3 million, according to preliminary numbers. “Ellen’s Game of Games” at 8 p.m. had a 1.0/5 and 4.7 million viewers. At 9, “This Is Us” posted a 1.4/7 and 6.5 million viewers. “New Amsterdam” at 10 got a 0.7/4 and 4.7 million viewers.

CBS was second in ratings with a 0.9/4 and first in viewers with 9 million. “NCIS” at 8 landed a 1.0/5 and 11.2 million viewers. “FBI” at 9 received a 0.9/4 and 9.2 million viewers. “FBI: Most Wanted” at 10 finished primetime to a 0.7/4 and 6.5 million viewers.

Fox and Univision tied for third in ratings, both with a 0.6/3. Fox was third in total viewers with 3 million, Univision was fifth with 1.7 million viewers.

For Fox, “The Resident” at 8 had a 0.7/3 and 4 million viewers. At 9, “Gordon Ramsey’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back” got a 0.6/3 and 2.1 million viewers.

ABC was fifth in ratings with a 0.5/3 and fourth in viewers with 2.9 million. “The Conners” at 8 drew a 1.0/5 and 5.4 million viewers. At 8:30, “Bless This Mess” had a 0.6/3 and 3.3 million viewers. “Mixed-ish” at 9 got a 0.5/2 and 2.4 million viewers. At 9:30, “Black-ish” closed out the comedy block with a 0.5/2 and 2.2 million viewers. “Emergence” at 10 settled for a 0.3/2 and 2 million viewers.

Telemundo was sixth in ratings with a 0.4/2 and in viewers with 1.1 million.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.3/1 and in viewers with 821,000. “Arrow” at 8 had a 0.3/2 and 921,000 viewers. At 9, “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” got a 0.2/1 and 721,000.
