Atletico Madrid's preparations to face RB Leipzig in the Champions League quarter-finals this evening were rocked by two players testing positive for coronavirus.

Forward Angel Correa and right-back Sime Vrsaljko will now self-isolate at home, ruling them out of the one-leg tie in Lisbon.

A somewhat silver lining is that neither player was likely to start at the Estadio Jose Alvalade, though Diego Simeone still had some big calls to make, with Marcos Llorente preferred to Alvaro Morata and Joao Felix as a partner for Diego Costa.

For RB Leipzig, life begins without Timo Werner. Yussuf Poulsen steps up in attack, with Patrik Schick only on the bench.

Marcel Sabitzer is deemed fit to play after injury, but Emil Forsberg is named as a substitute following a bout of tonsillitis.

RB Leipzig XI: Gulacsi, Klostermann, Upamecano, Halstenberg, Sabitzer, Laimer, Kampl, Angelino, Nkunku, Olmo, Poulsen

Atletico Madrid XI: Oblak, Trippier, Savic, Gimenez, Lodi, Saul, Herrera, Koke, Carrasco, Llorente, Diego Costa
