After an intense Euro 2016 tournament in France, Ronaldo has been spending his summer holidays in style and partying up on a yacht.

He even met up with UFC star Conor McGregor at his gym in Las Vegas, and the heavily-tanned player posed in the octagon for a dramatic fight photo with McGregor who is preparing for his long-awaited return to the UFC.

The Irishman also posted a snap which read: “My brother Ronaldo dropped by the gym today. He is an animal.”

He added, “Thank you @cristiano, much respect! I will see you for that Forbes number 1 spot next year.”

Manchester City players have been spending their time in China for preseason duties this week, and they participated in a series of activities including visiting the Great Wall of China.

Pep Guardiola’s team seemed to have enjoyed their visit the iconic site, with Samir Nasri and Sergio Aguero all posing candidly for the cameras in these photos.

Although they did not cover all 21 gruelling kilometres of the historic wall, they certainly enjoyed their trip, unlike their rivals Manchester United.

Unfortunately for United, their team plane was forced to make an emergency landing a hundred miles away from Beijing airport.

Forward Memphis Depay filmed himself on Snapchat saying, "We're lost somewhere." The team had to wait for a few more hours before eventually arriving at their hotel to have dinner at 1 a.m.

Earlier this week, the hotly anticipated summer preseason match against Man City at the Bird’s Nest stadium was called off due to the terrible condition of the pitch.

Manager Jose Mourinho also addressed the media and described the pitch as “very bad”.

He emphasised that his target was to get his players home without any injuries leading up to the Community Shield against Leicester on 7 Aug.
