Ever wanted to see how a member of a game developer's team would take on their own product? Japanese developer and publisher Capcom will let you do just that at gamescom asia on 21 October, at the event's inaugural Entertainment Zone.

Ryozo Tsujimoto, the renowned Monster Hunter Series Producer who has overseen all titles in the series since 2007's Monster Hunter Freedom 2, will be making an appearance at a special stage event that weekend. Tsujimoto is widely seen as a core member of the driving force behind the Monster Hunter series, including its explosive global success with the first PC title in the main franchise, Monster Hunter: World.

He will be joined on stage by three gaming influencers - Indonesian YouTube content creator The Jooomers, Malaysian caster and host TashBunny, and Japanese Twitch streamer HighGai.

Together, the quartet will be taking on event quests from Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak!, the expansion to 2021's Monster Hunter Rise. As with any co-op game that's played together, we're expecting there to be lots of fun and side-serving of chaos, and it's bound to be an entertaining afternoon for Monster Hunter fans.

The special stage event is set to take place at 2pm on Saturday, 21 October, so mark your calendars.

Aside from Tsujimoto's on-stage appearance, Capcom has also lined up a couple of hands-on game demos at their booth during gamescom asia, which include:
