This Scandalous Reality Show Is The Top Series On Netflix Right Now

“Perfect Match” is currently the most popular show on Netflix, according to the platform’s public ranking system.

The second season of dating reality show premiered on June 7 with the release of the first six episodes. Hosted by Nick Lachey, the series brings single contestants from other Netflix reality shows to a tropical villa, where they couple up into relationships and compete in challenges.

Although “Perfect Match” follows a similar format to other dating franchises, this series has received much praise for its inclusivity in featuring bisexual cast members and same-sex pairings.

“Zillow Gone Wild”

Another reality show is trending on Max at the moment, but rather than dating, this one focuses on real estate.

“Zillow Gone Wild” is an adaptation of the popular Instagram account about the most wacky, bizarre and original homes on the market. Hosted by comedian and actor Jack McBrayer, the show gives viewers a look inside some of these one-of-a-kind domiciles.

“The Acolyte”

“The Acolyte” premiered on Disney+ on June 4 with the release of the first two episodes. The subsequent six will drop weekly on Tuesdays.

Set before the events of the Skywalker Saga, “The Acolyte” is the latest installment in the Star Wars franchise and stars Amandla Stenberg, Jodie Turner-Smith, Carrie-Anne Moss, Manny Jacinto, Lee Jung-jae, Charlie Barnett and Dafne Keen.

“Clipped”

On the same day that Carrie-Anne Moss’ new show debuted, her fellow “Matrix” star Laurence Fishburne premiered his new FX series “Clipped.”

“Clipped” centers around the 2014 scandal and downfall of Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling. Available on Hulu, the show stars Ed O’Neill as Sterling and Fishburne as famed Clippers coach Doc Rivers.

“Defending Jacob”

The 2020 miniseries “Defending Jacob” is back in the Apple TV+ top 10 trending shows list right now.

Based on William Landay’s 2012 novel, the crime drama stars Chris Evans as an assistant district attorney who finds himself torn between his professional duty and love for his family after his 14-year-old son is accused of murder. The cast also features Michelle Dockery, Cherry Jones, Jaeden Martell, Pablo Schreiber, Betty Gabriel and J.K. Simmons.
