Scoot to operate flights to 11 cities in August 2020

SINGAPORE – Scoot airline said today (22 July) that it will fly to 11 cities for August 2020. The low-cost airline is scheduled for flights to the following destinations next month:

  • Guangzhou

  • Hong Kong

  • Ipoh

  • Kuala Lumpur

  • Kuching

  • Nanjing

  • Penang

  • Perth

  • Seoul

  • Surabaya

  • Taipei

With effect from 1 August, Scoot will also resume ScootPlus on flights operated with its Boeing 787 Dreamliners, including Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Nanjing, Perth, Seoul and Taipei. In accordance with enhanced health and safety measures that the Singaporean airline has implemented, the following services under ScootPlus will not be available till further notice:

  • 15kg cabin baggage – the new 3kg cabin baggage limit will apply instead, and the remaining cabin baggage (up to 12kg) can be checked in at no additional cost

  • Choice of meals and beverages – Meals and beverages will not be available for purchase online and onboard, refreshment packs will be pre-placed on seats instead

  • Priority Check-in and Boarding

The airline will also extend its one-time free date change to all new bookings made from now till 30 September 2020.

Scoot has also extended its Covid-19 Travel Waiver Policy to flights departing up to 30 September 2020. The policy offers affected customers 100% refund through payment or 120% refund in Scoot vouchers should their flights be cancelled.
