Shida Harmi's affair with Khairul Fahmi
5 Dec – Shida Harmi, the woman who was said to be in a scandalous relationship with Malaysian footballer Khairul Fahmi Che Mat aka. Apek after suggestive photos of the pair emerged on the Internet recently, finally came forth to clarify the relationship rumours.
When asked if the screenshot of the BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) conversation the pair had was supposedly true, Shida firmly denied it.
"It is clearly not me who wrote those messages. Perhaps a third party tried to tarnish his reputation then drag my name into this. Honestly, I knew him since February. I admit we went for Karaoke, but not just the both of us. When I discovered that he was going to get engaged, I keep an arms' distance from Khairul. We lost contact since then."
Shida also revealed that she knows that only one person to have seen the photos of the pair together before they got circulated, but refused to reveal the name when asked.
The forums first went abuzz when screenshots of a BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) conversation filled with threats by Shida, which indicated that she has proof of their sexual relationship went viral.
