Singapore: Campus Game Fest 2014 a go, will have eSports tournaments

Last October’s Campus Game Fest, where gamers were treated to a preview of Strife, will be happening again this year. The three day, two night event will once again be held at Singapore’s ITE College Central, and will also feature an overnight LAN event that will last for as long as it does.

Unlike last year, this year’s Campus Game Fest will be held at the tail end of Singapore’s June school holidays, from June 27 to June 29. What hasn’t changed, however, is its program.

As with last year, Campus Game Fest organizer Singapore’s Cybersports and Online Gaming Association is giving local communities a venue at which to host their own tournaments.

Insidious Gaming, Team Robo, Epic Gaming Television, FIFA clan Kickers, and a student group from ITE College Central will be organizing tournaments for:

  • League of Legends

  • Dota 2

  • Blackshot

  • Pokemon X & Y

  • FIFA 14

  • Hearthstone

  • Dance Central 3

Registrations are not yet open for some of the competitions, so take this as a heads up for your preparations!

Here’s an upcoming Singapore event:
  • JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle English launch in Singapore celebrated with tournaments
