Danny Dyer is making his scripted comedy debut in Sky original Mr Bigstuff, which sees the EastEnders actor play Lee, the alpha male brother of carpet salesman Glen (Ryan Sampson). Lee turns Glen and his fiancée Kirsty's (Harriet Webb) life upside down when he crashes back into their lives, on the run from his dangerous past and with nothing but a biscuit tin containing their father's ashes.

Sampson wrote the series as well as stars in it with Dyer and Webb, and the six-part comedy is likely to tickle viewers.

Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell's rom-com certainly caused a stir in the lead up to its release over romance rumours between the actors, which they denied on multiple occasions. The film also proved a big hit despite this, with its enemies-to-lovers style story about two people who hate each other but pretend to be together at a wedding — only to be drawn to each other in the process.

Sky's new docu-drama explores the drug trade in Ibiza. (Sky)

The third instalment in Sky's Narcos documentary series explores how the small Mediterranean Island became the party capital it is today, and how it has been fuelled by a dangerous drug trade that drew in criminals as much as it did people looking to party. It explores how LSD, ecstasy, and cocaine came to Ibiza during the 1980s, 90s and 2000s, and what the aftermath was.

The Mean Girls musical film adaptation lands on Sky Cinema in July. (Paramount)
The Mean Girls musical film adaptation lands on Sky Cinema in July. (Paramount)

Tina Fey returned to her iconic film Mean Girls not with a sequel but a pseudo-reboot that adapts the musical rather than 2004 Lindsay Lohan movie. Starring Angourie Rice, Reneé Rapp, and Auliʻi Cravalho, the narrative once again follows homeschooled Cady Heron as her experiences in North Shore High School when she moves back to the United States with her mother.

The musical film has everything you expect from the original, and hits many of the same beats, it just has extra music and has been updated for a Gen-Z audience. Talk about making fetch happen.
