SM Entertainment denies Tao's withdrawal from EXO

18 Apr - South Korea's entertainment giant SM Entertainment has recently denied rumours saying that another one of the Chinese members from its popular idol group EXO is leaving the group.

According to KpopStarz, previously, a Chinese media reported that Tao (full name Huang Zitao) was looking to terminate his contract, after a taking long break that was caused by an ankle injury.

However, on 16 April, the company released a statement and denied rumours of Tao's supposed withdrawal, saying, "It is completely untrue."

In the meantime, Tao is back home in China to rest due to his leg injury.

The company has already lost two of EXO's Chinese members, after Kris Wu filed a lawsuit against the company back in May 2014, followed by Luhan in October, claiming that the company treated the Chinese members differently from the Korean members.
