Stefanie Sun announces she is pregnant with her second child
Singapore’s Stefanie Sun is pregnant with her second child, the Mandopop singer announced on social media on Thursday (25 Jan).
The 39-year-old said in Chinese in an Instagram post, “Yes, I’m now as fat as two people,” in a play of words on a Chinese idiom which means to be very different from one’s usual self.

The singer’s management company MAKE/MUSIC and label Universal Music also released a statement, saying, “MAKE/MUSIC and Universal Music Group would like to share the joy of Stefanie Sun Yanzi and her husband, who are expecting a new addition to their family in 2018.”
“We would appreciate it if fans and media alike can give Yanzi and her family the privacy they enjoy. At the same time, we thank everyone for your concern and well wishes as we count down to the arrival of the baby!” they added.
Sun married her Dutch-Indonesian husband Nadim van der Ros in 2011 and their first child, a son known only as “Little Nadim”, was born in 2012.
