American Sloane Stephens upset Caroline Wozniacki in their rain-delayed WTA Auckland Classic semi-final on Saturday to set up a showdown with Julia Goerges. Stephens, who led 5-2 in the first set when rain forced an end to play on Friday, continued to dominate when the match resumed to win 6-2, 7-6 (7/3). The tournament fifth-seed Sloane will play the unseeded Goerges in the final later Saturday.
