Sunshine Cruz disappointed with negative feedbacks

Ex-husband Cesar Montano's sister blasted the actress after Montano's reunion with his children

28 Jul - Actress Sunshine Cruz has declined to give any more response regarding her ex-husband's reunion with their three daughters recently.

As reported on Rappler News, earlier this month, ex-husband Cesar Montano posted a photo with his three estranged daughters, and revealed that they stumbled across each other when they were at the same restaurant at the Resorts World Manila.

When asked about it recently, Cruz stated that although what happened was a good thing, it was tainted by negative comments "made by Cesar's relatives".

Cruz may be referring to Montano's sister Maria Mercedes, who recently shared the same photo and stated that the reunion cannot erase the pain and suffering her brother and their family had to experience previously.

Mercedes also added, "However, I thank the almighty for this photo for it reveals the truth itself and [it's] a bingo for him! Indeed, God is in control which he often says to me."

Back in 2013, Cruz sued Montano for rape and accused the actor of performing lewd acts in front of their daughters.

"After what happened, the relatives went a bit wild on Facebook. They weren't happy with what happened, unfortunately, so the kids got hurt," said Cruz about the reunion and the photo that made the news recently.

Cruz stated that she wants to work out a better relationship with Montano and their children, and hopes that the relatives will not react rudely towards them for even trying to do something good.
