We are SUPER into the new “Justice League” trailer, and it packs a powerful punch

Comic book fans freaked out when the Justice League teaser trailer dropped at Comic Con last July. It was a total surprise — and definitely a welcome one. But for the official trailer, DC and Warner Bros. decided to roll out the red carpet. Not only were they previewing more Justice League teasers all week, they’ve also been releasing character posters for the new movie.

But now the first official Justice League trailer is finally here.

And it rocks. Seriously, everything about it is awesome. If you liked the first trailer and the more light-hearted tone it struck, you’re going to love this one.

Check it out.

How awesome was that?!

In addition to that same gritty darkness and sense of danger we’ve seen in past DC movies, Justice League is also lightened up with some well-placed jokes. Like this one.

And just look at how amazing they all look standing side by side.

You might’ve noticed that one person is conspicuously missing.

If you saw Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, you likely have an idea why that is. But we don’t think we’ve seen the last of Kal-El just yet. This Instagram certainly seems to hint that there’s more to the story.

That’s not the only clue. You might’ve also noticed a quick shot of Lois Lane in the trailer. She’s got her own story to tell, of course (remember that tease from the last movie? Lois Lane is the key), but the quick-witted reporter never seems to be far from boyfriend Clark Kent.

Superman aside, we can’t wait to see the rest of the crew team up to kick some villain butt.

They’ve got some great moves, and we’re ready to get these heroes in action.
