Take That surprise Lulu on stage to sing Relight My Fire live in Manchester
Lulu was just as stunned as her fans when Take That stormed the stage at her concert in Manchester.
The 75-year-old Shout hit-maker, who is currently on the very last tour of her 60-year career, was performing at The Bridgewater Hall and is said to have had no idea that Gary Barlow, 53, Mark Owen, 52, and Howard Donald, 55, were there.
Reminiscing about working with the lads on their classic 1993 collaboration Relight My Fire, she said: "I absolutely have to sing this song and I absolutely have to dedicate it to the boys, Take That."
Screams then erupted from the audience as the current line-up of the man band walked out to hug a very shocked Lulu before launching into the song.
Lulu is due to perform her final show at the London Palladium next week, however whispers are abound that she she has been lined up to play a set at Glastonbury this summer.
She last performed at the legendary music festival at Worthy Farm in Somerset nine years ago.
According to an insider: “Lulu is going to be announced as a performer at Glastonbury next week. It’s a massive deal for her and she can’t wait to play the Avalon stage.
“When Glasto organiser, Emily Eavis, got in touch about going down to the farm she couldn’t turn it down. It will be an emotional moment for her as it’s the last time she will ever play Glastonbury. It was magical for her when she last played on that same stage in 2015," they added to The Sun.
