Susan Siu respects DaDa Chan's decision
15 Aug – While so many people are still speculating about DaDa Chan's retirement, veteran actress Susan Siu has her own philosophy regarding the situation, reported Singpao.
The actress, who attended the advanced screening and audience appreciation event for the movie, "Hardcore Comedy" on 11 August, gave her two cents about the controversy, saying, "She worked so hard for her success today, but she chose to go back to being an ordinary person. She definitely had to be very determined or perhaps she wanted to do something that made her feel happy."
Susan, who has worked on three movies with the "Lan Kwai Fong" star, stated that she has yet to try and contact her.
"If I can find her, I would definitely say that some people worked hard for 40 or 50 years and still didn't have her achievement now, but you did it in two years! It came truly too easily for her. Easy come easy go!'"
Although she respected DaDa's sudden decision to retire, Susan thought that it was regrettable.
