The under-construction cruise liner -- which will knock Harmony of the Seas off the top spot as the world's largest passenger ship -- plans to offer passengers a unique culinary experience with a host of restaurants, concepts and dining options. Royal Caribbean has released a video previewing some of what's to come.

Floated out in June at the Saint-Nazaire shipyard in France, Symphony of the Seas will have more than just a ten-story slide, an ice rink and a 40-foot-long surf simulator with which to impress its passengers. The ship's owner, Royal Caribbean, also plans to deliver an international culinary experience onboard.

Robotic bartenders will be on hand to quench passengers' thirst before they choose a bite to eat from an array of global specialties. British chef Jamie Oliver will be bringing his modern take on Italian cuisine to the onboard dining lineup with Jamie's Italian. Alternatively, passengers will be able to savor quality cuts at an American steakhouse or pick up sushi and sashimi from an Asian outlet. A Mexican restaurant will be on the menu too.

Royal Caribbean also plans to invite young talented chefs to Symphony of the Seas to cook up a treat for foodie passengers.

Reservations for cruises onboard the supersized ship are already open.

Symphony of the Seas is scheduled to enter service in April 2018 with an inaugural season sailing spring and summer in Europe, stopping at Palma, Marseille, Florence, Pisa, Rome and Naples. Royal Caribbean's new record-breaking ship will then cross the Atlantic to Miami in November 2018, and will then sail the Caribbean.
