Taylor Swift Personally Congratulates Iga Świątek on Winning the French Open

Is Taylor Swift secretly a tennis fan?

Last night, the world no. 1 women's tennis player, Iga Świątek, attended the Eras Tour in Liverpool, England. After, Świątek posted a selfie, crying, as she holds a handwritten note on Swift's stationery. "Yes, I cried many times during the show," she wrote. "Yes, it was incredible. You are amazing @taylorswift13" with two hand heart emojis:

While most of the note is hidden in the envelope, what's visible to the camera reads: "Iga, Congratulations on..." and "Open!!!"—a likely reference to the fact Świątek just won the French Open.

This isn't the first time has gotten a glimpse at Swift's notes—she's been vocal about her love for handwritten letters. "I love writing thank you notes. There's something very nostalgic to me about the feel of a card and putting pen to paper," she told Esquire in 2014."How many times in our lives are we required to put pen to paper anymore? There's something romantic and sort of lost about it. I like things you can touch and things you can keep, because every bit of communication we have is ephemeral in nature. You can just delete an e-mail and it's like it was never there."

Świątek, after winning the French Open this past weekend, is resting before she begins to prepare for Wimbledon. "I'm taking it day by day, step by step," she told T&C. "Always focusing on my next task."
