Three people were sent to hospital after an accident involving three vehicles and a wild boar at Lentor Avenue on Friday (29 September).

According to the Singapore Police Force, the police were alerted just before 7am to an accident involving two cars, a van and a wild boar along Lentor Avenue towards Yishun Avenue 2.

Three people, aged between 17 and 53, were sent to Khoo Teck Puat hospital, the police said. It is unclear if the wild boar was killed in the accident. Investigations are in progress.

This is the second time in two days that a wild boar has caused a road accident. In a separate accident on Thursday (28 Sept), a wild boar on the Ayer Rajah Expressway caused an accident that sent two people to hospital.
