New in town: Beans.Factory — Popular Malaysian dessert brand serving beancurd & shaved ice opens 1st outlet in Tanjong Pagar

Are you bored of the usual ice cream and gelato options for dessert? If so, Beans.Factory, which recently opened on 7 Jan 2023 at 100 AM Mall, should warrant your attention with its hybrid of both traditional and modern desserts.

Beans.Factory is actually a well-known dessert brand in Malaysia with over 10 outlets spread out from Johor, Malacca and even Kuala Lumpur. Their rapid expansion is astonishing, especially considering they only started back in 2021.

Its newly-opened Singapore outlet brought along its whole arsenal of desserts which includes their signature tau fu fah. The sweet and savoury dish is better known as beancurd around here and has a dizzying array of options.

You can choose from options such as Taro Ball Tau Fu Fah (S$8.50)Grass Jelly Taro Tau Fu Fah (S$7.50)Matcha Red Bean Tau Fu Fah (S$7.50) and Beans.Factory Signature Tau Fu Fah (S$8.90).

Purists can opt for the plain Signature Tau Fu Fah (S$4.90).

You’ve also got shaved ice desserts like the Signature Shave Ice (Peanut Candy) (S$5.90), Signature Durian Shave Ice (S$12.90) and Black & White Soya Ice Family (S$9.50).

They also have grass jelly options with choices such as Grass Jelly with Soya Milk (S$4.90), Signature Grass Jelly with Soya Milk (S$7.90) and Taro Family Grass Jelly (S$8.50).

If you don’t find the fixed options exciting, you could always create your own dessert be it cold or hot. You get base options like Tau Fu Fah (S$4.90) and Mango Shave Ice (S$5.90). Some of the toppings available include Homemade Taro Paste (S$2.50)Snow Nest (S$1.60) and Purple Rice (S$1.20).
