Trump Flies Back to Washington Before Announcing He Tested Positive for Coronavirus

US President Donald Trump departed Morristown Airport, New Jersey, bound for Washington on October 1 hours before the announcement that he and First Lady Melania Trump tested positive for the coronavirus.

Trump was attending a campaign fundraiser at his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey. Videos posted to social media show that people at the event received coronavirus tests before entry to the golf club.
