SINGAPORE — Two men who are seen in a video fighting at Great World City mall were arrested on Monday (6 June).

The police said they were notified about a fight between two men along Kim Seng Promenade, the address of the mall.

"Following ground enquiries, officers from Tanglin Police Division established the identity of the men and arrested them for affray on 6 June," the police said, in response to media queries. It is unclear when the incident took place.

In a video of the incident posted by Facebook user Patrick Tan on Sunday, two men can be seen fighting a few metres outside an entrance at the mall. According to Tan, one of the men "purposely" knocked into the other man and a fight ensued.

Several individuals are seen in the video watching the fight but do not intervene to stop it. It is only when one of the men falls to the ground and is kicked on his head and back by the other man that a voice can be heard asking the men to stop fighting.

The video has drawn more than 440,000 views as of 7.20pm.
