On-demand household services app sendhelper has announced today that it has launched new services in addition to cleaning: cooking and laundry and dry cleaning.

Max Loosen, CEO of the Singapore-based startup, said that the introduction of these new services is a natural trajectory for the company, given that its vision is to become an all encompassing platform for household services. Many of its customers were also requesting for such features.

“Since the beginning, we’ve had one customer on the radar: The busy professional deprived of extra time to clean up at home and eat fresh and healthy food,” said Loosen in a press release.

To make a booking for cooks, users have to enter their location details, hours required and choice of cuisine. For laundry and dry cleaning services, users will get professional service providers to pick up and deliver their items in the shortest possible time.

Besides these new services, sendhelper has also launched a new payment system. Now, instead of paying up front, customers only pay once the service has been completed.

Launched in May 2015, sendhelper is a one-stop app for domestic chores. Its on-demand market place allows customers to connect to a network of vetted and verified service providers.

Loosen told e27 that sendhelper is seeing a five-digit monthly revenue, with more than 1,000 paying customers. It also has been experiencing about 20 percent month-on-month growth in users since May 2015.

It will be seeking to raise a pre-Series A round to grow its services in Singapore and expand to Hong Kong.

The app is available on both the Google Playstore and App Store.
