A Close Encounter With an Immense Gray Whale in California
Daron Case and Dave Orozco were checking out the conditions for surfing at Silver Strand State Beach in Coronado, California, on April 22 when they encountered an immense gray whale and her calf. The whale was travelling back from its migration in Mexico and arrived just in time for Daron to capture some footage using his GoPro.
