Coast Guard Helicopter Rescues Two After Microlight Aircraft Crash

Two people were rescued from the sea off Scotland on October 10 after their microlight crashed. The Aberdeen coast guard launched search operations, along with local police and the local lifeboat. The two men were found in Cromarty Firth, where the light aircraft went down after getting into difficulty near Evanton. The Scotsman described the pair as being hypothermic and in shock.
