Confederate Flag Sympathizer Wears Hip Hop Shoes to Rally

Supporters of the Confederate battle flag held a rally on Saturday, August 1, at Georgia’s Stone Mountain Park, which features an enormous relief carving of Confederate heroes on the mountain’s granite side. George Chidi, a journalist and city councilman at a nearby town, spotted one flag supporter sporting a Ku Klux Klan tattoo and FUBU shoes.

FUBU is an iconic hip hop label started by black entrepreneurs in New York. Chidi asked the man about those shoes. Credit: YouTube/George Chidi
