Dozens Killed in Taliban Attack on Police Cadet Buses in Kabul

At least 30 people were killed and 40 wounded in a suicide attack near Kabul on June 30. Local news reports said the Taliban had claimed responsibility for the twin explosions that targeted three buses approaching the capital from Wardak province.

The first explosion hit buses carrying police cadets, the second one detonated as first responders and emergency services arrived at the scene.
