Lightning Storm Strikes South of Brisbane

A lightning storm illuminated the dark skies of Brisbane and the Gold Coast in the early hours of Tuesday, December 6.

The Bureau of Meteorology had warned of severe thunderstorms packing damaging winds in southeast Queensland.

Two campers were struck by lightning while on top of Mt Warning early on Tuesday. One man was later confirmed dead.
