Stunning Timelapse View of Earth From Space

European Space Agency (ESA) astronaut Alexander Gerst was stationed in the International Space Station on a five-and-a-half month expedition when he captured these high-definition images of the earth’s surface. The photos were compiled by the ESA production team in this spectacular photo montage, which runs 25 times faster than real time, according to the agency. Credit: YouTube/EuropeanSpaceAgency
