Volunteers cook Ramadan meals for Syria regime fighters

Every day at 6 p.m. since the beginning of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, dozens of pro-Syrian government fighters gather at the entrance of an abandoned building in the town oof Akraba, in the Damascus countryside, to receive a meal for iftar (the breaking of the fast). A team of 79 volunteers have been using an abandoned warehouse as their makeshift kitchen to cook and provide up to 2600 meals a day.
