Willow Fire Burns Through More Than 1,000 Acres Near Bass Lake

Hundreds of firefighters battled a wildfire burning near Bass Lake in California’s Sierra National Forest on Saturday, July 25. The fire grew dramatically overnight to 1,121 acres, threatening 450 homes. The blaze, known as Willow Fire, was only 5 per cent contained by Sunday, according to ABC30.
