Wang Feng and Zhang Ziyi united by gambling?
30 Dec - Although the two of them are now proud parents to a baby girl, a lot of people are still curious about how two different people - a rock singer like Wang Feng and an international star like Zhang Ziyi, can fall in love.
According to tabloids, the answer seemed to be their love of gambling.
Wang Feng has always admitted to be an avid poker player, saying that playing poker makes him more focused. At the same time, Zhang Ziyi herself is a fan of mahjong and that the two of them have played the game together many times.
Tabloids also reported that back in 2013, Wang Feng was playing Texas Hold'em in Macau when he spotted an old Beijing couple at the same table looking quite lost with the rules of the game.
He later helped the couple secretly, and even asked the staff to assist the two of them. It was later revealed that the couple was actually Zhang's parents.
The couple started dating soon after, with Wang declaring his love for the actress during one of his stage performances. The couple got engaged earlier this year, with rumours saying that they registered their wedding secretly in Hong Kong a few months after.
