Watch Daniel Caesar's Scintillating BBC Radio 1Xtra Studio Set

2017 was a meteoric year for Canadian singer Daniel Caesar, and he continues his momentum into 2018 by slowing things down with a riveting, vulnerable three-song set for BBC Radio 1Xtra.

There's a rich gospel swell to "We Find Love" that transitions seamlessly into the simmering "Blessed." In the "Best Part" performance, Caesar plays guitar, delicately picking at the chords and leaving room for the track's thick bass line. "Get You" showcases his airy falsetto and impressive vocal range.

Caesar recently received Juno nominations for Best R&B/Soul Recording and Artist of the Year, and lost out on Best R&B Album and Best R&B Performance to Bruno Mars at the 2018 Grammys. We're still waiting on an official release for his Chance the Rapper collaboration, too.
