The Southeast Asia finals for the WESG tournament is filled with eSports tournaments for your viewing. Among the games to catch for the tournament are Dota 2, CS:GO, StarCraft II, Hearthstone, and Vainglory.

The best Asian teams will be fighting for a spot for the WESG Finals in China next year. Also, attendees for the Southeast Asia Finals will get a chance to win a helicopter ride with Dota 2 legend Mushi.

Capcom Pro Tour 2018

This is it: The final Capcom Pro Tour tournament to determine the best Street Fighter V player in the world. Notable Asian and Southeast Asian players fighting for glory here include:

  • Singapore: Xian

  • Taiwan: Oil King

  • Japan: Tokido, Itabashi Zangief, Mago, Stormkubo, Gachikun, Nemo, Sako, Bonchan, Haitani, Momochi, and Daigo Umehara

Kitaman Legends – Comic Fiesta Edition 2018

If you want to take a crack at getting placed in next year’s EVO Japan and SEA Major, look no further than this Malaysian fighting game tournament this weekend. This is happening during the same week as Comic Fiesta (hence the subtitle), so you can also get your geek on with the exhibition’s anime and doujin offerings.

The games that will be used here are Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition, Tekken 7, and Dragon Ball FighterZ. Registration fee is RM60 for one game, RM80 for two games, and RM100 for 3 games.

AoC Cup 2018: Road To Evo Japan

Date: 15 – 16 December

If you’re an aspiring fighting game player who has thoughts about going pro and wants to win a free trip to EVO Japan next February, this tournament could be as good a chance as any to train up and fight.

This tournament is happening alongside the WESG Southeast Asia, which means the venue will be an eSports haven for all Southeast Asian players. The last chance qualifiers section of the tournament will happen on 15 December.

So far these are the players who have qualified for the Grand Finals of the tournament: MEAT, ZABA, GTM,Zre, Zur, Shrimboo, ASHINOMORI, Fate, Shinato, MADRUSH.

The Female Esports League is a great chance for female gamers of all ages to test their mettle against one another in League of Legends.
