Chinese New Year Short Series – My Dragon Baby 我的龙年宝宝

To add a creative touch to the celebrations, this year once again, Mah Sing introduces a series of short and captivating Chinese New Year videos titled “My Dragon Baby 我的龙年宝宝”. The storyline revolves around the Chinese belief that babies born in the Year of the Dragon bring good fortune and greatness.

The short series, featuring 7 episodes, follows a humourous tale of a couple attempting to fulfil the demanding wishes of their mother-in-law, leading to unexpected consequences throughout the Chinese New Year celebrations. The video, modernised for the younger generation, will be released on social media platforms such as TikTok (main platform), Instagram and Facebook, allowing viewers to engage with the storyline episode by episode.

Chinese New Year Music Video – 《龙腾马跃大胜年》 (Soaring to great heights in the Year of the Dragon)

Mah Sing wishes everyone a joyful Dragon Year with a Chinese New Year theme song titled《龙腾马跃大胜年》 (Soaring to great heights in the Year of the Dragon). For the fourth consecutive year, Mah Sing extended its collaboration with Crystal Liew Yen Yen, a well-known Malaysian singer, and eight finalists from various years of the Astro Classic Golden Melody competition, a singing competition where Mah Sing is the main sponsor.

The song, crafted by a famous Malaysian composer and lyricist Tee Kok Leong, captures the majestic essence of the Dragon – the most auspicious zodiac sign. This song symbolizes the grand spirit of the Dragon, aspiring to bring good health, immense happiness, and abundance of wealth to everyone.

Released on 10 January 2024, the music video has garnered more than 600,000 views to date. The music video is now available on Mah Sing’s social media (Facebook Page, Tik Tok and Youtube channel).
