Yahoo Poll: How are you going to observe Holy Week?
The Archbishop of Cebu Jose Palma issued a call to prayers, reflection and opening of hearts during Holy Week.
Bishop Palma said Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection saved mankind from sins. He urged Christians to return to their faith in God.
“The life of Christ brings in new hope. The death and resurrection of Christ bring a renewed energy and a promise that He would be with us for all time. And if we are with Him, we will be with Him in His resurrection despite all that had happened,” Palma said.
Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
