The annual National Day Rally is a chance for the Prime Minister to address Singaporeans and make announcements about the pressing issues of the day.

For example, in 2017 PM Lee addressed three broad topics: The importance of preschools, the war against diabetes and building a Smart Nation. A post-speech study showed that almost half of Singaporeans polled were neutral about the speech.

While there has been no indication as to what Lee will discuss in this year’s Rally, recent hot issues include the SingHealth cyber attack, relations with Malaysia and leadership succession.

What do you think PM Lee should address? Vote in the poll below and leave a comment if none of the options fit.
