Yao Chen re-marries for second time
22 Nov – Mainland China's most popular actress Yao Chen has recently tied the knot with her famous cinematographer boyfriend, Yu Cao.
According to Jaynestars, dressed in an elegant Vera Wang bridal gown, the actress, who is also New Zealand's travel ambassador, and her partner held an intimate church ceremony at the St. Peter's Church in New Zealand on 17 November, followed by a beautiful reception located in the midst of the snow-capped mountains.
This is the actress' second marriage. Yao Chen was previously married to actor Xiaosu Ling before filing for divorce seven years later.
Following the wedding, Yao Chen updated her blog with, "On 17 November, Yu Cao and I held a low-key wedding ceremony in front out our closest family and friends. We are grateful to have received all your wishes and blessings in the past several days. We also apologise to the media for not responding to your requests and thank you for your understanding. Thank you everyone for giving us such a perfect wedding, I am eternally grateful."
The actress met Yu Cao while working together in the 2010 rom-com, "Colour Me Love". The two of them started dating after Yao Chen split from her husband on January 2011.
