Yvonne Lim and Alex Tien to tie the knot

23 May – Wedding bells will soon be ringing for Mediacorp actress Yvonne Lim and Alex Tien of Taiwanese boy band, BAD.

According to Yes Entertainment, the couple, who announced their engagement earlier this year, reportedly will be getting married this September and are currently planning their wedding.

The former singer and the "Portrait of Home" actress only started dating six months ago, after being friends for a long time. It was revealed that it was Alex's Singaporean godmother who urged him to pursue her.

Despite Yvonne being older than him by three years, Alex stated that he fell in love with the actress' kindness and caring nature.

Meanwhile, though details of the wedding has yet to be revealed, it was reported that Alex's good friend, Taiwanese singer Jam Hsiao will be his best man, while loving couple Christopher Lee and Fann Wong will be among the celebrity guests at the reception.

When asked about his thoughts on their upcoming wedding, Alex's manager said that he is very happy.
