Zenless Zone Zero, the upcoming action-adventure game by Genshin Impact dev HoYoverse, opens Technical tests for PlayStation 5
Zenless Zone Zero is an upcoming action-adventure game with rogue-lite elements, where players step into the shoes of the "Proxy" within New Eridu, the final bastion of urban civilization.
It seems like HoYoverse, the developer of popular games like Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail is gearing up for the console release of Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ) after announcing sign-ups for the technical testing for the game on PlayStation 5 on Wednesday (10 April).
Zenless Zone Zero is an upcoming action-adventure game with rogue-lite elements in it. Players step into the shoes of the "Proxy" within New Eridu, the final bastion of urban civilization following inexplicable disasters known as the “Hollows”.
The “proxy” guides other citizens of New Eridu as they navigate through this perilous environment.
The game had its first closed beta in 2022, and had previews in both the 2023 Tokyo Games Show and HoYofest 2023.
The second closed beta in December 2023, highlighted a faction in Belobog Heavy Industries and showed us how ZZZ is HoYoverse’s unique twist on combat-focused roguelites.
Then, in February 2024, HoYoverse confirmed ZZZ’s PlayStation 5 release, followed by a third round of closed-beta testing sign-ups in March 2024.
How do I sign up for the PS5 Technical Testing?
Interested players can sign up from 10-17 April through the technical test sign-up page. Sign-ups end at 3:00 PM Singapore Time.
Here are the steps to take:
Head over to the Zenless Zone Zero PS5 Technical Test page.
Sign in to your HoYoverse account.
Complete and submit the test sign-up survey to finalize your registration.
After the sign-up period concludes, HoYoverse will email notifications to all eligible participants, referred to as Proxies.
Before you sign up, make sure you qualify for all the requirements. Here are some of the reminders:
You need about 40 GB of available space on your console, and a reliable internet connection.
Eligible playtesters should be at least 16 years old and above.
The test features limited account access, no payment options, and data deletion upon its conclusion.
Account trading and sharing are strictly prohibited, and if you’re caught sharing or trading, your test account will be revoked.
