As revealed on Groove Asia website, at a recent event in Beijing, the Taiwanese singer was photographed trying to hug actress Zhang Ziyi twice, but was twice avoided, resulting in an uncomfortable situation.
Netizens who saw the photos praised the actress for rejecting Leehom's public display of affection, stating that the singer has been dying to prove his sexual orientation, following the rumours of his relationship with renowned Chinese pianist, Li Yundi.
However, upon hearing what Netizens had to say about the incident, Leehom's manager denied the reports and clarified, "Ziyi and Leehom do usually hug each other when they meet. But Ziyi was wearing a bare-back dress that day, so she was too shy to return the hug."
