Zoie Tam wants something new with TVB
5 Mar – Former iCable star, Zoie Tam expressed her wish to start fresh with TVB through her first project with the company.
As reported on Wenweipo, on 3 March, the actress made an appearance at the blessing ceremony of TVB's new documentary drama, "Hong Kong Heart, Hong Kong Passion" with co-stars Elaine Yiu, Jack Wu, and Ben Wong, and expressed her hopes of trying something new.
When asked if she decided to leave iCable three months ago after seeing how her former colleagues Priscilla Wong and Tony Hung have been flourishing with TVB, Zoie expressed, "I have been with iCable for almost 7 years, and I have suffered the 7-year itch!"
Zoie said that though her focus had always been on hosting when she was still with the company and she hopes to try something else with TVB.
"I want a turning point in my career, so I said yes when the production crew recommended that I come here instead. I do feel happy to see Priscilla and Tony doing well in TVB," said the actress.
