The body of an 87-year-old man was found in the Kallang River on Thursday (25 May).
Police said it was alerted to a case of unnatural death at Kallang River at about 12.30pm. The body of the elderly man was found motionless in the water.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force manually retrieved the body. The man was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene.
Police investigations are ongoing.
