EastEnders airs Dean Wicks outcome in early iPlayer release

EastEnders spoilers follow from Monday's (April 15) episode, which hasn't yet aired on BBC One.

EastEnders aired the outcome of Dean Wicks' story in the show's latest episode.

Dean was arrested last week after Stacey Slater spotted an opportunity to solve two problems in one go.

The Six had been thrown into chaos following the discovery of Keanu's body last week and Sharon Watts' subsequent arrest.

Believing it was only a matter of time before she got caught, a devastated Linda decided to cut her losses and hand herself in.

However, Stacey had a different idea, realising there was a way they could make Dean pay for his ongoing crimes and get Linda off the hook as well. She later planted the murder weapon in Dean's flat, while Linda reported Dean to the police.

With Dean struggling to talk his way out of trouble down at the police station, Monday's episode saw Johnny, Linda, Sharon, Denise and Stacey all meet again to discuss making their plan watertight.

In the interrogation room, Dean was shocked to hear the evidence against him, as it became clear that his plan to take Jade to America, with no return ticket, was playing into the police narrative.

As Dean was also reminded of the argument he had with Keanu before Christmas, he clocked that the meat thermometer must have been planted by one of the Slaters.

The police then headed over to question Harvey, Jean and Stacey again, where Jean explained her suspicions that Dean had been tampering with Jade's medication.

Jade, who had been listening at the door, stepped in and confirmed Jean's accusations.

Dean was later re-arrested on suspicion of neglecting Jade and also formally charged with Keanu's murder.

EastEnders airs on Mondays – Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
