Genshin Impact: Giant inflatable Paimon going on voyage from UK to Singapore

A giant inflatable Paimon is going on a voyage around the world!

Genshin Impact developer HoYoverse revealed on Monday (27 September) that a giant inflatable of Paimon, the game's beloved mascot and/or emergency food, will be going an a global voyage all around the world as part of the 'Giant Paimon's Global Endless Journey' event.

The two confirmed locations for Paimon's voyage so far include the River Thames in the United Kingdom and Palawan Beach on Sentosa in Singapore.

Giant Paimon's Global Endless Journey will kick off with the Paimon inflatable drifting through the River Thames from 2 to 4 October.

Meet-ups will also occur along the inflatable's course for Genshin Impact fans in the United Kingdom to get a close-up view of the giant Paimon, with cupcakes and drinks to be provided for the party.

Merchandise will be made available for purchase as well as prizes to win.

Fans are also welcome to dress up like their favourite Genshin Impact characters to take photos at the event in exchange for limited edition postcards.

UK fans who also post about the event and Paimon on Tiktok with the hashtags #endlessjourney #paimonjourney, as well as tagging the official Genshin Impact UK account will get the chance to win Primogems. The Top 20 videos with the most views can win up to 1,500 primogems!

Emergency food in Singapore

After beginning her voyage at the River Thames, Paimon will cross to the other side of the world to cruise along the shores of Palawan Beach at Sentosa, Singapore from 14 October to 20 October.

Events that will occur in Singapore to celebrate the inflatable Paimon have yet to be revealed by HoYoverse.

Genshin Impact fans in Singapore can bide their time waiting for the giant inflatable Paimon to arrive by going to the Genshin Impact-themed collab cafe at Flipper's@ Bugis Junction from 28 September to 9 October as part of HoYo Fest 2022 or check out the Emergency Food bundles from Dominos' Pizza.

HoYo Fest 2022, which also features themed events for other HoYoverse games aside from Genshin Impact, will also be held in other countries in Southeast Asia such as the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam.

HoYo Fest 2022 will be hosted from 28 September to 6 November.

It's an exciting time to be a Genshin Impact fan, no matter where you are. The game will soon be releasing version 3.1 and celebrating its second-year anniversary, with 10 Intertwined Fates, 1,600 Primogems, and other rewards being given away as part of the celebrations.

Genshin Impact version 3.1, along with Cyno, Nilou, and Candace, will be released on 28 September.

Genshin Impact version 3.2, featuring Nahida the Dendro Archon and Layla, is planned to be released on 2 November.

Genshin Impact versions 3.0, 3.1, and 3.2 will have shortened run times of five weeks instead of the usual six weeks, likely to catch up to the game's original release schedule after the release of version 2.7 was delayed back in April.
