Arlecchino takes the stage

Arlecchino, also known as "the Knave", is ranked Fourth out of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers, making her one of the most powerful and influential beings in Teyvat. She is also the current director of the House of the Hearth, an orphanage run by the Fatui that provides the organisation with a steady stream of manpower.

Under her guidance and protection, she has raised the siblings Lyney, Lynette, and Freminet, as well as many other Fatui we have encountered throughout our journey in Teyvat.

Arlecchino played an integral role during the Fontaine archon quests as both a suspicious ally and proponent to the evacuation of citizens during the prophesied rapture of the nation of Hydro.

As a playable character, Arlecchino is a 5-star polearm user with a Pyro element alignment. She will act as a main DPS with a very unique mechanic called "Bond of Life".

Players may recognise the Bond of Life when fighting against elite Fatui enemies around Fontaine, but to simplify what this mechanic does: it prevents enemies from regaining health while increasing the caster's attack power. However, Arlecchino cannot be healed by party members, and can only heal through her burst.

Arlecchino will have her first banner run alongside her subordinate, the 5-star Pyro bow user Lyney. Her signature 5-star polearm Crimson Moon's Semblance will also debut in the weapon banner.

Lyney, Wanderer, Baizhu reruns

Lyney is the Celebrated Magician of the Court of Fontaine, however, he trades the fun and wonder of magic tricks in battle as he acts as the team’s main DPS, using a bow and the Pyro element to empower his charged attacks and defeat enemies in a dazzling display.

Lyney’s kit focuses on dishing out tons of Pyro DMG through his charged attacks, which cost him his own HP to use, then finishing off enemies with his skill and burst before smoothly restarting that cycle.

The second half of version 4.6 will feature the reruns of former Fatui Harbinger Scaramouche, now known as Wanderer, as well as the beloved doctor of Bubu Pharmacy Baizhu.

Wanderer was once known as the Balladeer Scaramouche, former 8th of the Fatui Harbingers. However, through a great deal of toil and suffering, has now shed his former identity and has aligned with the Dendro Archon Nahida as the mysterious Wanderer, or Hat Guy if you're in the Akademiya.

Wanderer dons an Anemo vision, and through the use of his catalyst, dishes out devastating DMG through his charged ATK focused kit. His kit, reminiscent of his previous iteration as a manmade god, will make short of enemies you have on field, making him a worthy addition to your party if in you're in need of a devastatingly powerful DPS.

Baizhu on the other hand, is the only 5-star Dendro shielder and healer, which alone makes him a must have unit when you're a Dendro main.

Baizhu’s kit focuses on healing and shielding the party while also consistently applying Dendro to enemies, making him an integral support to Dendro DPSs like Alhaitham and Tighnari.

New weekly boss fight: The Knave

Arlecchino may be willing to become our sworn ally, but before that, we have to face off against her in a battle that may be the most difficult one yet. Arlecchino will unleash her full power as The Knave as she will be introduced as the newest weekly boss.

Players will have to experience her devastating "Bond of Life" mechanic first hand, and seeing the snippets so far revealed in the special program, this isn't going to be an easy fight! Arlecchino will impose her blood-debt directive on you, and if you fail to repay her, she will deal more damage that can easily wipe out your party. However, if you do repay Arlecchino, you will be rewarded with buffs that are necessary to bring her down.

With this weekly boss fight comes a new feature for players who have yet to finish the necessary quests to unlock Arlecchino's domain, allowing us to readily challenge her with the new quick challenge feature.

The weekly boss fight drops will for sure be needed by Arlecchino herself. so gear yourself up, level up your artifacts, and build your DPSs, we're pretty sure we're going to need it!

Besides having the Knave as the new weekly boss, Fontaine will also feature a map expansion, this time introducing the village of Petrichor.

Petrichor is a quaint town boasting exceedingly pure waters and a beautiful landscape, it is surrounded by many ruins and stone statues that is related to the extinct civilisation known as Remuria.

Underneath the waters of Petrichor Village lies the Sea of Bygone Eras, which houses the Undersea Capital of the Kingdom of Remuria, now left abandoned.

The Remuria existed way before the time of the first Hydro Archon Egeria, and was led by a god king named Remus. Much of the lore regarding this fallen civilisation is recorded in the Golden Troupe artifact set, which also details its eventual destruction and fall into the abyss.

New world quests will be made available upon unlocking Petrichor Village, as well as a new world boss called the 'Legatus Golem' or 'Statue of Marble and Brass', which will be housed within the Undersea Capital's Faded Castle.

Cyno gets his second Story Quest

It looks like we're going back to the desert with the second chapter of Cyno's story quest! Unveiling new lore about Cyno, it looks like we're going to explore the source of his power, and watch him duel it out (but this time not with his beloved cards) with the mysterious character Sethos over the "Wisdom of Hermanubis".

We're excited to learn more about Cyno, and more about the mystery of Sumeru's lost civilisations!

We're going back to Inazuma for version 4.6's main event, headlined by everyone's favourite bull-chucking oni, Itto! The 'Iridescent Arataki Rockin' For Life tour de force of Awesomeness' will feature the return of fan-favourite musician NPC Dvorak as he organises a musical show in Watatsumi Island with Arataki Itto in the lead.

The rhythm game main event will richly reward players with primogems, mora, ascension materials, a new instrument called the "Nightwind Horn", as well as the opportunity to invite the doggy general Gorou into their party!
