Before joining A Higher Standard, Juergens served as Director of Development at Maniac Productions, where he managed the studio deal with Blumhouse Television. Prior to his time at Maniac, he worked in an assistant capacity at Millennium Media, contributing to films including The Protégé, The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard, Jolt, Till Death, and The Outpost.

He recently co-produced the independent feature film Junkie, which was shot in Atlanta and Los Angeles last year, and before that assisted on marketing campaigns for NBCUniversal, A&E, and HBO, working on projects including Silicon Valley, Westworld, and Game of Thrones.

Former Millennium exec Greenstein set up A Higher Standard this year as a production and sales company with a slate including Head Games starring Samuel L. Jackson and Henry Golding, Bear Country starring Russell Crowe, and Solo Mio starring Kevin James, as well as the previously announced Playdate starring Kevin James and Alan Ritchson, which recently wrapped production.

“Thayer and I have worked on a multitude of projects before. I really love the way he approaches ideas and how we collaborate with each other. With him joining us, we can accelerate our development process. I want to empower and elevate young executives, showcasing what fresh minds like Thayer’s can bring to the industry and what new stories he can bring to the world,” Greenstein stated.

“I couldn’t be more excited to reunite with Jeffrey, who’s been a dear friend and mentor for years. It’s been a privilege to hit the ground running with talented collaborators to make entertaining films for audiences around the world,” said Juergens.
