Model Eugenio Casnighi claims he was fired from the Met Gala for out-thirsting Kylie Jenner

Or, pretty man fired for being too pretty.

If Derek Zoolander taught us anything, it's hard being really, really, really ridiculously good-looking.

Male model and professional handsome man Eugenio Casnighi is sharing his beautiful plight after getting fired from the Met Gala as a greeter because he went viral last year, stealing a bit of the thirsty spotlight from attendee Kylie Jenner.

Casnighi told the tale, pulled some receipts, and spilled some extra tea, in a series of TikTok videos.

“I just got fired from the Met Gala,” the 26-year-old said, explaining that he never discussed this before because he had signed a nondisclosure agreement, but since he was fired, he's now free to dish, baby, dish.

"I've been working for the Met Gala as a model and greeter, 2022 and 2023, and I was supposed to do it this year," Casnighi continued. "It's Friday and the Met Gala is on Monday and they let me know today that they cut me off, they fired me because I went viral last year."

Casnighi was assigned to be Kylie Jenner's escort for the evening but his really, really, really, ridiculously good looks had the horniest parts of the internet swiping left on Jenner and focusing on that chiseled jawline by her side.

"So basically they said, 'You made it about yourself so we can't have you work there anymore,'" the ex-greeter elaborated. He stopped short of spilling all the tea until gently prodded by someone in the comments section, which led to two more videos.

In the second video, he shows some screenshots from texts and emails regarding his hiring for the annual, star-studded fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute. According to these receipts, Casnighi was forbidden from posting any content from the Met Gala after the fact, even if he appeared in it.

The Met did not immediately respond to Entertainment Weekly's request for comment.

And in the third video, just for shady kicks, the model gives some behind-the-scenes details, revealing who was nice and who was not-so-much. Spoiler: Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Gigi Hadid, Blake Lively, and Emma Stone, nice list. Committed cat woman Doja Cat and Bad Bunny, not-so-much list. And Kaia Gerber is no Zendaya — but who is?

Anyway, the moral of this story is: Don't be too good at your job.
