The episode titled “Divided We Conquer” is the second-part conclusion of the finale following the April 29 episode “Spill the Tea.” In tonight’s episode, the team finds itself in one of the most dangerous situations of the series when they are exposed to deadly bioweapons by a terrorist group.
Things were very touch and go for many including Sam (LL Cool J) who, though he was exposed to just a tiny bit of the virus, came very close to meeting his maker. A last-minute Hail Mary saved the day and he survived, though he was definitely left worse for wear while recovering.
Although the team didn’t get a proper sendoff, the episode ends with Jane (Vanessa Lachey) with Sam in tow arriving at a surprise party thrown by the family: Kai (Alex Tarrant), Jesse (Noah Mills), Ernie (Jason Antoon), Lucy (Yasmine Al-Bustami) and others. They share stories and toast reveling in the moment before it’s time to go into battle yet again—off camera, of course.
But just when you think it’s over, the final beats of the episode bring confusion. Jane arrives home to find Maggie (Julie White) on her couch with the latter saying, “Janie, you’re probably going to need a drink for what’s coming next.”
Unfortunately, unless the creators reveal their plans for Season 4, the future will remain a mystery.
